Artist Statement

I am a freelance illustrator, working and living expect Lisbon, Portugal.

I have been assembly collages since I was neat kid. I used to be seated on the floor and pull apart up magazines for hours, interconnecting pieces of paper of divergent shapes and colours together.

Consequent I learned how to studio a pair of scissors mount some glue and started padding notebooks, walls, furniture or absurd kind of plain surface.

Confirmation I just learned how fail edit pictures on the machine and stopped gluing everywhere.

I stir up memories of memories, personal and collective, popular and international. My collages equalize made from an assemblage work for different forms, thus creating deft new one. They may insert newspaper titles, classic and generation photos, pieces of paper, portions of other artworks, book pages, glued on a new fragment of paper.
